A good breakdown of Salerno/Mises article posted yesterday.
He really is taking center stage.
The market responds to protect their customers.
We were told yesterday how terrible it was going to be that companies could potentially mine our information if the noble government didn’t come save us. It turns out that private companies have incentives to protect their customers and they did just that in response. If they didn’t repeal the law then companies and individuals would have relied on the government instead of themselves. The government is notoriously unreliable and would have used this legislation as a wedge to gain further regulatory control over the internet. A free people can take care of themselves. Freedom shouldn’t be feared.
DoJ moves to deport imprisoned immigrants.
How does this not make absolute perfect sense? 20 percent of federal inmates are non-citizens. If they’re here illegally they should definitely be deported and if they’re legal they should be put up for review. If you want to be a citizen of this country you need to stay out of jail. If you can’t do that then there are plenty of others who can and they deserve the opportunity. This will be far more effective in screening potential citizens than any government concocted screening test.
CIA disguises hacking by making it appear Russian.
This is actually old news but it does prove that the “independent investigation” into the DNC hacking is a joke. Their whole conclusion is based on something that virtually all major intelligence agencies do on a regular basis in order to cover their tracks. Do you really think Russia, who has one of the best intelligence agencies, hacked the DNC and left such obvious tracks? Further discussion via zerohedge.
Along with the entire narrative.
The cycle can’t have much steam left. I’m short but I have been for awhile and have gotten killed lately. Learn about futures, trust me.
