Strikes me as a contradiction in terms. The government provides services to the poor so how could Christians oppose it? How does the government get money for these charitable activities? It steals it from hardworking American’s. You can’t steal people’s money even if it’s for a good cause and you can’t get the government to do it for you either.

The Church embarrasses herself again by overstepping her bounds. Is the wall immoral? Or is it immoral to enter another country illegally? Where was all this moral outrage when Bush/Hillary/Obama wanted to erect a fence on the Mexican border? The Wall is a stupid idea that will lead to the use of eminent domain (taking of land against the will of the owner then compensating him with a price the government decides on) and will only slow down, never stop, the flow of illegal immigrants. I’m sick of all the moral outrage of this project while the White House is dropping bombs like hotcakes and no one seems to care about that. The Church should fight for peace not for the latest SJW crusade the left has given its imprimatur too.
